Fuzhou Vocational Technical College is a public, full-time ordinary higher vocational college that integrates fields such as science and engineering, economics and trade, tourism, arts, and education, with a focus on cultivating advanced applied technical and management talents.  The college was established in June 2003 on the basis of the resources of Fuzhou School of Economics and Trade, Fuzhou Agricultural School, and Fuzhou Arts School, which were key secondary vocational schools in Jiangxi Province. In June 2007, it further integrated resources from Jiangxi Mechanical and Electrical Technician School, a national key technical school, and Fuzhou Technician School (which was later separated from the college by the Fuzhou Municipal Government in 2019). In 2023, the college was listed as a construction unit for high-level professional groups in Jiangxi Province. Located at No. 276 Donglin Road, Fuzhou City, the college covers an area of 614,030.7 square meters and offers 32 higher vocational majors. It currently has a total of 532 faculty members and more than 12,300 students. The college actively engages in talent cultivation through customized training programs and has deep cooperation with well-known enterprises such as BYD Auto.
