On the morning of June 8, 2023, in order to steadily promote the establishment of the Double High-levels Plan Tea Cultivation and Tea Processing major of GVTC internationalization project, the School of Agriculture Engineering of GVTC held a webinar on international cooperation with the Maldives National University. The cooperation projects discussed in this webinar mainly include: Chinese tea and Tea culture training series, invited participation in international forums, Bilateral visits, etc., aiming to promote the implementation of the cooperation and exchange project between our "double high" professional group and the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Studies of the National University of Maldives, and build a cooperation framework for 2023 China - ASEAN Conference on Vocational Education Cooperation and Development, so as to prepare detailed plans for follow-up activities. CHEN Enhai, Dean of the School of Agriculture Engineering of GVTC, ZHAO Hongmei, Dean of College of International Education, and a team of teachers of the Double High-levels Plan Tea major of GVTC participated in this webinar.

At the webinar, CHEN Enhai, Dean of the School of Agriculture Engineering of GVTC, introduced the reform and development of GVTC and the achievements of the establishment of the Double High-levels Plan Tea Cultivation and Tea Processing major of GVTC, and sincerely invited the Maldives National University to participate in the China-ASEAN Vocational Education Joint Exhibition and Forum to be held in Nanning in September this year. He hoped both parties would further strengthen cooperation and exchanges in discipline-specific construction, tea production and processing, and tea culture exchanges, etc.
