General Introduction
Nowadays, more and more people are shopping online instead of purchasing in offline store. With years’ development, Chinese E-Commerce market, hitting around 4.9 trillion USD in 2020 and being the largest E-Commerce market in the world, has fostered many successful E-Commerce platforms, such as Taobao, JD.Com and Pinduoduo. There is no doubt that online shopping has been one of the inevitable parts in many Chinese people’s lives.

Similar trend can also be seen in many ASEAN countries, a huge under-served market. ASEAN has experienced rapid growth in E-Commerce activity in the past few years,
and the E-Commerce annual sales in ASEAN is predicted to reach 102 billion USD by 2025. This is to say that the next decade will see an unprecedented growth in ASEAN E-Commerce, and that learning about related experience from China can help related practitioners and potential participants better launch a career in this field.

The professor for the training, Prof. LI Ying from Guangxi University of Finance and Economics, has delved into E-Commerce fields for more than 10 years, and she will introduce the current E-Commerce ecosystem in China as well as social media marketing strategies on TikTok, Wechat and other burgeoning platforms.
