General Introduction
This course is a mandatory training program for seafarers under the International STCW Convention Manila Amendments. It is an essential skill course for maritime crew, aiming to ensure that trainees become thoroughly familiar with various types of life-saving equipment, master survival knowledge and principles, possess basic survival skills at sea,
and correctly use life-saving equipment and take appropriate actions. Additionally, trainees will master basic first aid knowledge, acquire on-site rescue skills, and be able to make judgments and take effective rescue measures through observation, listening, smelling, and touching to maintain the patient's basic life functions, significantly improving the success rate of crew treatment.

This Course is for
● Helping trainees understand the types of emergencies that may occur on ships, such as collisions, fires, and sinking.
● Enabling trainees to master the types of life-saving equipment and their standards (boats, rafts, suits, flotation devices, survival signals, communication equipment, line-throwing devices, and accessories).
● Teaching trainees to master the composition and usage of personal protective clothing and equipment on board.
● Enabling trainees to take appropriate actions in situations of abandoning ship or being in the water.
● Helping trainees accurately perform on-site handling and first aid during sudden illnesses and personal injury incidents.
