Structure and Maintenance of Single-Cylinder Diesel Engines is compiled by the teaching team of Guangxi Mechanical and Electrical Engineering School for the 2022-level students majoring in Agricultural Machinery Equipment Application and Maintenance, as well as Drone Operation and Maintenance. This textbook aims to help students better understand diesel engine knowledge and master professional skills such as the use, maintenance, and troubleshooting of single-cylinder diesel engines. It is designed to enhance students' vocational abilities and qualities, adopting a student-centered educational philosophy. The content covers six major projects: basic knowledge of single-cylinder diesel engines, use and maintenance, common fault diagnosis, disassembly of the entire machine and inspection of parts, assembly and debugging of the entire machine, and the "three routes" of single-cylinder diesel engines (air route, fuel route, and starter circuit). Each project is transformed into multiple learning tasks based on actual job positions in enterprises. The language is easy to understand, with rich illustrations, making it convenient for students to study independently and practice by imitation.
