The SEAMEO Regional Centre for Vocational and Technical Education and Training (SEAMEO VOCTECH) was established on 28 August 1990 in Brunei Darussalam as one of the Centres and Network of the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organisation (SEAMEO).

    It is mandated to assist the SEAMEO-member countries to identify and solve common problems in technical vocational education and training.

   To support its mandate, it undertakes activities in professional development, research and consultancy, and information dissemination.
