On October 14, 2022, the establishment ceremony of the China-ASEAN UAV Industry Alliance was held at Guilin University of Aerospace Technology, China. Dr. Songheang Ai, Director of the Regional Center for Technical Education Development of Southeast Asia Ministers of Education Organization, representatives from universities such as University Bandar Lampung in Indonesia, Cebu Technological University in the Philippines, Sunway University in Malaysia, Thuyloi University in Vietnam and related enterprises witnessed this moment. A representative of Go Study was also invited to deliver a congratulatory speech.

After the establishment of the China-ASEAN UAV Industry Alliance, it set up a cooperation platform for promoting the development of the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) industry in China and the ASEAN region, the alliance and CATECP will have more in-depth cooperation in the aspects of UAV research, teaching resources, technical competition, China-ASEAN cultural communication, and exchanges, and will jointly promote the development of China-ASEAN UAV technology.
