General Introduction
This course is a core course offered by the Internet of Things Technology major that combines practice and learning. It is a professional course that prepares students to complete computer network system architecture and application work tasks.
It primarily provides students with an idea of the configuration and management technology in modern computer networks, with a strong emphasis on practicality and applicability, and is a typical course reflecting the ‘embedded’ teaching mode.

This Course is for
● Helping trainees learn the fundamentals of commonly used protocols in modern communication networks
● Equipping trainees become familiar with common network devices on the market
● Helping trainees learn how to install, debug, use, and configure switches and routers
● Enabling trainees to develop the ability to build and manage networks using network-connected devices
● Helping trainees acquire and learn to use network interconnection devices to build modern basic communication networks.

Learning Materials

● Corresponding PPT
● Online Course Video
● Simulation Question Tanks

Recognized By

Benefits of Learning

● Understanding the method for dividing IP addresses and subnet masks and being able to configure them on network devices using the command line
● Being familiar with VLAN configuration method and being able to use the command line to achieve port VLAN division on the switch
● Understanding the configuration methods for three-layer switching and single arm routing, as well as the ability to configure corresponding functions on the three-layer switch using the command line
● Using static routing configuration commands proficiently, being familiar with the display of routing tables, and being able to interpret their meanings
● Understanding the RIP dynamic routing protocol configuration process, clear with the meaning of each configuration parameter, and being able to configure the RIP protocol based on network topology and application scenarios
● Understanding the OSPF dynamic routing protocol configuration method, clear with the meaning of each configuration parameter, and being able to configure the OSPF protocol based on network topology and application scenarios
