This course is a professional course of art design which aims at fostering students’ pottery observation ability, modeling ability, carving ability, design ability, ability to make aesthetic judgment and document summarizing ability, as well as helping students master the steps, methods and form language of pottery making.
Through the learning, students are equipped with higher national cultural literacy, ability to understand and internalize national traditional culture, design ability to integrate national features into local feature products, ability to finish collecting and extracting national elements and integrating them into Nixing Pottery designs, as well as developing series of products that have both local features and national features, fostering craftsman spirit and patriotism through course practice.
