The purpose of the competition is to stimulate students' creativity, promote the exchange and blending of innovation and creativity, encourage the students who study or work in Energy Power from China and ASEAN countries to communicate with each other, increase their knowledge and ability in the practice of innovation and entrepreneurship, temper their volition, cultivate a high-quality, innovative talent pool and innovative entrepreneurial forces in the energy and power industry.

Our organization aims to promote the development of education by holding the competition and exploring new ways of vocational education in the energy and power industry. Taking the competition as an important step in the China-ASEAN Industry-education Integration in energy power, we hope that the competition can guide the development of regional energy power vocational education, carry out the exchanges and cooperation in the energy power industry and for the energy power vocational education.
