To strengthen China-ASEAN educational exchange links, to continue to implement the spirit of educational exchange and cooperation agreements including educational integration between China and ASEAN, to construct a higher vocational computer teaching system to meet the development needs of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area, to reform and innovate the teaching mode of computer major.  This competition aims to cultivate students' technical ability and their ability to understand website planning, website development, user experience design and the development of related industries, to cultivate the ability of team management and coordination, and to improve the professional quality of students and improve the compatibility between the teaching environment and the office environment. By guiding the school to construct the curriculum of knowledge through competition, this strengthens the cultivation of students' practical ability.  It is beneficial to solve the problem of talent shortage in IT enterprises and to meet the needs of the new generation’s national strategic development in emerging industries in information technology.  Through Web Design and Production Competition,  it can promote higher vocational computer majors to connect with the latest industry standards and job specifications, enhance the students employment competitiveness, promote the cooperation between higher vocational schools and relevant enterprises, and better realize talents’ training mode of the combination between work and study.
